We are very pleased that our client Securiton has been awarded the Red Dot Design Award twice. And that’s at the first of time taking part in the competition! Congratulations and many thanks to all involved in the respective project teams for the great success and the wonderful collaboration!
The winning products are the operating unit the STC 701 for the intrusion detection system SecuriSafe Expert and the reader APR 70x for the access control system SecuriGate. The jury was impressed by its minimalist, coherent design and intuitive operation with high operating comfort.
Both products are the result of a well-thought-out design strategy and consistently implemented design language. Derived from the company’s values, design principles were defined, which form a clear starting point for the development work.
Of particular importance is the user experience, which puts the user in the centre. The design guidelines ensure a logical operation, in which the products of the different divisions follow the same operating procedures.
Both projects were created at the long-standing design partner Meyer-Hayoz Design Engineering AG, where we were responsible for the award-winning products. We are very grateful to now be able to continue the excellent work made so far with creative matters.
